Role Purpose
A Production Engineer is responsible for supervising and improving production at Plant. Production Engineer is supervising manufacturing processes , ensuring quality of work done in a safe, efficient manner.
Role Summary
Production Engineers execute production as per plan.Ensure material availability for production and quality assurance.Ensure routine maintenance of equipment and identify emerging problems and communication to related departments. Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements and reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs
Job Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities (TDR)
i. Ensure availability of materials for production. Follow up the production plan to ensure adherence to the process parameters.
ii. Ensure the production as per the quality standards.Ensure waste minimisation. Measure production process to determine variation in quality parameters.
iii. Ensure routine maintenance of equipment and identify emerging problems and communication.Routine checkup of machines & equipments as per the checklist and inform maintenance department for avoiding downtime
iv. Able to implement the production schedule.
v. Quality check of soles by Conducting cup test & FRD (Free Rising Density) test by hourly basis. Random checking of product validation of random cases and informing Operation Management lead & UMC on daily shift basis.
vi. All process register and process report updation
vii. Check fitment of the product on daily basis/ Check the die as per the checklist/Ensure the rejection falls below the norms.
viii. Production details to be recorded in shift logbook and google drive before the shift ends. Record machine details, material and chemical into the system as per production
ix. Preparation of Active List of Mould Inventory on Monthly basis
x. Approval of Weekly Shift Schedule of Workforce. Compilation of Product Weight Report (month wise) and Establish and maintain housekeeping standard that meet or exceeds the overall plant standards

Job Specification
1. Essential Factors
Education: B - Tech Mechanical / Equivalent .
Experience: 0-2 Years of experience in Footwear manufacturing..

i. Good oral & written communication skills (English & Hindi).
ii. Knowledge of footwear manufacturing
