Why Should a Candidate Take G.E.T.?
Assessment of Employability Skills
The test assesses a range of employability skills, including cognitive abilities, communication skills, and domain-specific knowledge. By taking the test, students can identify their strengths and areas for improvement, which can help them better prepare for future employment opportunities.
Benchmarking and Comparison
The test provides students with a benchmark for their performance relative to their peers. This benchmarking allows students to gauge their competitiveness in the job market and understand where they stand compared to other candidates.
Enhanced Job Opportunities
By performing well on the test, students can demonstrate their readiness for employment and increase their chances of securing job opportunities with top companies.
Professional Development
Taking the test can serve as a form of professional development for students, helping them develop critical skills such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication. These skills are valuable not only for employment but also for personal and academic growth.
Credentials for Resume and Job Application
Including the Global Employability Test score on resumes and job applications can serve as a credential that showcases a student’s readiness for the workforce. This can be particularly beneficial for students who may not have extensive work experience but want to demonstrate their capabilities to potential employers.
Feedback
The test provides students with personalized feedback and guidance based on their performance, helping them understand their strengths and weaknesses and offering suggestions for improvement. This feedback can be valuable for students as they navigate their career paths and make decisions about further education or training.
