Operations Manager / Executive
Location: Ernakulam / Trivandrum / Calicut / Thrissur
Experience: 2+ years
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth experience for students.
• Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Hire, train, and manage hostel staff, including housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance
teams.
• Supervise staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hostel.
• Conduct regular inspections of hostels/properties to ensure they are well-maintained.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any repair or maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure proper rent collection and follow up on any pending dues.
• Conduct weekly and monthly meetings in hostels to address concerns.
• Act as the middleman between the hostel, students, and the institute, ensuring smooth
communication.
• Prepare monthly reports, estimates, and Profit & Loss (P&L) sheets for respective hostels.
• Identify ways to minimize costs and improve revenue through operational efficiencies.
• Maintain records of student occupancy, lease agreements, and hostel-related documentation.
• Implement and enforce hostel rules and policies to ensure discipline and a comfortable living
environment.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for hostel supplies, food, and maintenance
services.
• Handle emergency situations like medical issues, fire hazards, or security concerns
effectively.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting hostel operational expenses.
• Ensure hostel facilities are optimized for maximum occupancy and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in hostel, hotel, or property management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and operational management software.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle escalations effectively

Sales
Location: Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut
Experience: 2+ years in sales, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or related sectors
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Identify and onboard hostel partners while ensuring high-quality service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers (property owners, institutes, and
corporates).
• Conduct market research to understand demand trends, customer preferences, and competitor
activities.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and conversion.
• Manage Roomindo sales, institutional collaboration, and property hunting.
• Hire, train, and manage field executives to enhance sales effectiveness and market coverage.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with educational institutions and corporates to drive
occupancy rates.
• Oversee sales operations, ensuring smooth communication between sales, operations, and
marketing teams.
• Conduct site visits, negotiate property acquisitions, and close deals aligned with business
requirements.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for
improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on sales performance and business
development strategies.
• Represent FindMyHostel at industry events, networking meetings, and business forums to
generate leads and strengthen partnerships.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, advertisements, and
outreach strategies.
• Implement pricing strategies and discount structures to maximize revenue while ensuring
competitive positioning.
• Assist in the development of technology-driven solutions to improve customer experience and
streamline operations.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Stay updated on real estate and coliving industry trends to identify new opportunities for business
expansion.
• Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation with hostel partners and institutional
clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and ensure seamless customer
onboarding.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in B2B/B2C sales with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel as per company requirements.
