About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Support Engineer Intern to join our technology team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to live loan processing applications, production support operations, incident management, and business-critical financial systems.

You will work closely with Business, Development, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth functioning of production applications while gaining valuable experience in application support, troubleshooting, database analysis, and process monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of live loan processing applications and related systems.

Monitor application health, batch jobs, and schedulers to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Respond to and assist with user and business queries received through email, WhatsApp, and ticketing platforms.

Investigate production incidents and assist in troubleshooting issues within defined service timelines.

Analyze application logs and database records to identify and resolve system issues.

Track failed transactions, job failures, and integration-related issues.

Support loan disbursement, repayment processing, EMI generation, and related business workflows.

Assist in data validation and operational support activities.

Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve production issues.

Prepare incident reports and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for critical issues.

Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.

Participate in application release support and operational monitoring activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of SQL and database querying.

Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar platforms.

Understanding of application logs and troubleshooting concepts.

Awareness of APIs, JSON, and system integrations.

Knowledge of batch processing, schedulers, and monitoring tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Willingness to learn production support processes and financial technology systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
