Invitation to Participate in Pin Well programme (With incentive & Honorarium) implemented by Anuvadini Foundation, AICTE and MoHUA

Greetings from Anuvadini, AICTE!

 

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the “Pin the Well” Project, a pilot initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), being implemented by the Anuvadini Foundation, AICTE. 

The project aims to create a structured, verified, and geo-tagged digital inventory of wells across urban and rural areas by engaging students from AICTE-affiliated institutions.

The initiative offers a unique opportunity for students, staff and faculty members to contribute to a national-level water resource mapping project while gaining valuable field experience and recognition.

Under this scheme, students and mentors will get an opportunity to participate in a national water conservation initiative and receive an incentive for each verified well. 

The mentors (Faculty/Staff member from institute) from the same institute will review and vet the submissions by the students. Upon successful monitoring and completion, mentors and students will receive appreciation certificate and honorarium as per the guidelines.

 

Benefits to Students and Mentors

 

• Each mentor will be eligible for an honorarium of Rs. 2,000 upon successfully supervising 10 students as per defined rules and norms.

• Participating students/staff will receive Rs. 200 per verified Well (maximum of five (5) Wells per students), subject to review and approval by the Institute Mentor through the designated AI powered mobile application.

 

Upon successful completion of the programme, participating students and mentors may be invited by MoHUA for recognition in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs. 

 

Certificates and awards will be distributed during the formal recognition ceremony.
