About the Company

Plenti is a new, mission-driven app-based platform designed to help India's best kitchens connect their fresh, unsold food at the end of the day with a new, appreciative audience. We turn a daily operational loss into a new revenue stream and a powerful story of sustainability. Plenti is a Startup India registered venture, recently selected for the prestigious NSRCEL incubation program at IIM Bangalore and supported by the Kerala Startup Mission. We have so far - 

• 85,000+ registered app users
• completed 17,000+ customer orders
• rescued 30,000+ servings of food
• prevented 50,000+ CO2 emissions

About the Role

We are looking to hire for the role of Business Development Manager for locations including Coimbatore, Thrissur, and Kozhikode (Calicut). The roles and responsibilities of a BD Manager include and not restricted to - 

• Generating and following up leads of restaurant/bakery/supermarket owners, managers.
• Onboarding partner restaurants to Plenti, setting up pricing and handing over onboarding kits. 
• Keeping high bar on city growth, ensuring targets are met and deliver MoM and YoY incremental growth.  
• Perform end to end account management of onboarded restaurants/partrners in respective cities managing excellent stakeholder relationships. 
• Own backend operations including Plenti packaging materials replenishment of partners. 
  

Who would be a perfect candidate ? 

A perfect candidate for this role would be someone who has - 

Ownership - The candidate proactively takes ownership and strives to exceed expectations of themselves.
Problem-solving acumen - The candidate has the ability to think on feet and ensures a systematic fix to problems on a day to day basis and can work with minimal guidance. 
Accountability - The candidate will directly report to the founding team and will be responsible for the P&L generation of the city and will hence be accountable for the same. 
Hard working mentality - The candidate should be highly demanding of themselves on a day to day basis.
Curiousity - Ideal candidate would treat this role as an early career learning opportunity as opposed to a regular job and earn the confidence of the founding team for additional resposnibility and thus look for exponential growth within Plenti. 

Expected salary range - Base salary of 20-25K + uncapped incentives based on performance. The incentive is designed with a win-win structure to ensure high performance is rewarded.
