Position Overview
Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers to work with the Water Engineering Group. The role is structured to execute engineering activities such as detailed design, design calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and manufacturing drawings. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality engineering deliverables for assigned work while adhering to technical and quality standards.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Processes)
- Ability to prepare and understand engineering drawings, basic calculations, and technical documentation
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and engineering practices
- Ability to execute assigned engineering tasks within agreed timelines with quality
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel (domestic / international) if required
Desired Skills
- Exposure to 3D modelling and generation of engineering drawings
- Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Exposure to Pressure Vessel Design concepts
- Exposure to Strength of Materials applications
- Exposure to manufacturing / shop-floor environment
- Basic understanding or exposure to Water / Process Engineering systems
- Experience working on academic or internship-based engineering projects

Required Qualifications
