 Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions, designs, models, and simulations using various software tools as per client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Development

• Design and develop solutions as per client specifications
• Work with different software tools such as CAD and CAE to develop models aligned with project plans and customer requirements
• Test prototypes and designs on software platforms and validate all boundary conditions (stress analysis, impact analysis, etc.)
• Produce technical specifications and determine operational feasibility by integrating software components into a fully functional system
• Create prototypes based on engineering drawings and prepared CAD models
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements
• Provide optimized solutions by running simulations in a virtual environment
• Ensure software tools are updated with the latest features to maintain cost-effective solutions
• Enhance applications and solutions by identifying improvement opportunities, making recommendations, and implementing optimized systems
• Follow industry-standard operating procedures while modeling solutions as per client requirements

2. Customer Support and Problem Solving

• Fix defects raised by clients or software integration teams by resolving assigned tickets
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems efficiently and within defined timelines
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback to ensure resolution with customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards

3. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly status reports as per client requirements
• Maintain documentation and repositories of design changes, recommendations, and updates
• Maintain accurate timesheets for client reporting
• Provide written knowledge transfer and project history documentation
