Academic Grand Challenge on Climate Change

 


To foster the entrepreneurial spirit amongst the students, T-AIM is collaborating with Capgemini to seek applications for Academic Grand Challenge on Climate Change.

 

In this challenge, student teams from colleges across India are expected to build solutions to predict heat wave occurrences and the Air Quality Index (AQI) for Tier-2 cities of Telangana.

Desired Outcome: Help the government authorities and citizens by building an AI/ML model that predicts the occurrences of heat waves and the Air Quality Index (AQI) for Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam. The prediction frequency must be monthly for January-December 2023.

What's in it for students?

Seed fund of ₹10 lakhs will be awarded to the top 10 student teams.


Grand Prize Winner: A total sum of ₹5,00,000 will be awarded.
2nd Prize: A total sum of ₹2,50,000 will be awarded.
3rd Prize: A total sum of ₹1,00,000 will be awarded.
Top 10: All members of the top 10 teams will get an opportunity to interact with the Senior Leadership of the Academic Grand Challenge on Climate Change.

Eligibility Criteria: 
  • Education: B.E / B.Tech, MBA.
  • Year of Passing: '23, '24 and '25.
Note: Students shall apply in groups, with a minimum of two students and a maximum of four students per team.
